The Canon EOS 50D is a digital SLR priced with beginning photographers or casual photo hobbyists in mind.  It looks very similar to the Canon 40D but has many different features.  It is packed with enough hi tech and flexibility to satisfy the needs of professional photographers as well, however. The main improvement over the Cannon EOS 40D camera come in the form of a quicker image processor (DIGIC 4), a broader ISO range (100 to 12800), an LCD with four times more pixels than the Cannon EOS 40D  and a face-detection autofocus option. The Canon EOS 50D is also a very quick shooting camera. Not only will this new release Cannon digital camera shoot at a speed of up to 6.3 frames per second, but it will  keep up that speed for up to 90 JPEGs when using a UDMA card.

Canon EOS 50D Digital Camera

The EOS 50D is a15.1 mpixel DSLR with a 3-inch, 920,000 dot LCD screen and ISO range of 100-12800. Other unique features of the Canon EOS 50D include a magnesium alloy body, 6.3fps continuous shooting, and Live View mode. The DIGIC 4  enables the 50D to shoot fast at 6.3 frames per second and to deliver 14-bit image processing.


Other goodies in the Canon digital camera EOS 50D:
